Instructors can control their own camera and microphone, as well as the microphone of participants (students). Zoom will ask students to connect their camera. Student microphones will be muted by default. See Zoom documentation for more information on managing host controls. You can also use the phone number included in the invitation to connect as an audio-only call. To connect your microphone, click the blue button that reads “Join with Computer Audio.” Your microphone will be muted by default. If any students connect before you, they will see a message that indicates that the meeting has not been started by the host yet. The host (instructor) must connect to the call first.
